Hands At Work Charity
Hands At Work in Africa is a Christ-centered, community-based charity, serving in 8 countries in sub-Saharan Africa.
Hands at Work’s vision is to see the local Church in Africa effectively caring for the orphaned, the widowed and the dying, and unified in this mission with the Church outside Africa – us!
As the local church is mobilised in each African community to unite and reach out, they are equipped to provide holistic support to the most vulnerable children and families in their communities.
At Woodlands Central, we are privileged to be partnering with Hands at Work in Africa in a community called Houtbos, South Africa. As a partner, we can have a significant impact through committed, long-term alliance in service to this African-led ministry. Through visiting, advocating, praying and giving, we deepen our relationship with Houtbos. Our support enables 50 vulnerable children to receive the 3 essential services of food, education and healthcare.
You can find some photos from previous visits to Houtbos at the top of this page.
